About
Aejix, real name Mike Serapinas, is a British electronic musician, producer, performer and DJ - best known for playing and creating Drum & Bass music. His musical journey began at the age of five with the trumpet and piano, embarking him on a transformative path through other instruments - drums, bass, guitar and vocals, eventually leading to DJing and producing in 2016. Earlier immersion in orchestras, bands and ensembles laid the foundation for his emergence as a solo artist in late 2023.
Since then, Aejix has released music on VISION, Kartoons, District Recordings and DnB Shack Records; played at All Points East, Hospitality Weekender and venues including Ministry of Sound, Scala and E1; supported the likes of Chase & Status, Dillinja, DJ Hazard and Serum; whilst also guesting on Reprezent Radio and running a monthly radio show with DnB Shack on Life FM. Notable quotes on his music include Nicky Blackmarket on the Kartoons release (alongside DJ Millz), described as “a masterclass in modern jungle and drum and bass, combining deep roots with futuristic energy”; Nik Roos dubbing his track on VISION as “designer jump up”, and Slipz calling his sound “unique”. In late 2026, Aejix started his own audio imprint 'Club of Spades' with the first EP coming out on November 6th.
